OutreachPro was created by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to help researchers, clinicians and other professionals increase participation in and awareness of clinical studies on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and to share the latest on brain health research. OutreachPro and its contents are systematically developed using literature reviews, environmental scans, listening sessions with stakeholders, focus groups, national surveys and user testing.

OutreachPro has a library of content designed specifically for African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American and Pacific Islander populations and available in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Tagalog and Hindi.

How it works:

OutreachPro allows you to create and customize outreach materials (websites, handouts, fact sheets, radio scripts, videos, social media posts) about clinical studies, dementia and brain health. Begin by selecting your communication goal:

1. To educate about Alzheimer’s, related dementias and/or brain health.
2. To increase awareness and interest in Alzheimer’s and related dementias clinical studies.
3. To provide information about a specific Alzheimer’s or related dementia clinical study open to recruitment.

Answer questions about your target audience, their health status and details relevant to your clinical study and recruitment needs. Based on your selections, browse and customize available materials using a central library of headlines and messages that have been extensively tested with individuals representing diverse and under-resourced populations. Select your preferred photo and add your logo and contact information. Now you’re all set to save, download, print and share your customized material.
